4 eyes :)

Matthew kept telling me he couldn't see things but Vanessa had also just gotten contacts and glasses so I figured he was just wanting to have them too so I kept telling him, yes I'll call and of course I kept forgetting. FINALLY I remembered and made him an appointment and ummmm...yeah I accept the bad mom of the year award, he was blind!!! He's such a cutie in his new glasses!!

The count down is FINALLY over with :) The kids BOTH got their braces off and oh my what a difference!! Still can't get over it....

Snookums

Sad for me but happy for my dad haha We finally had to get rid of Snookums. When we move we won't be able to take him with us and he drove dad batty. I do miss him greeting me when I get home but I'm excited to get our own house FINALLY!!!

Utah

A couple weeks ago, Nate and I drove the truck to Utah for his brother to sell for us. It was a quick, busy and fun weekend. Lets see after 7 months of being married to Nate, I FINALLY got to meet his parents. I was so nervous because I usually don't have the best of luck with in-laws, but Nate kept telling me I had nothing to worry about haha yeah I was terrified!! Not only was I meeting his parents for the first time, I also was meeting his sister-in-law Rachel, parts of her family and more of Nate's family. Rachel and Austin had an adorable lil guy a couple weeks prior, so we were also getting to meet him for the first time. OMG is he adorable!!!

Nate was right though, his family was all amazing and I loved them all!!! Still was nervous as heck but so good to finally have gotten to meet them. That same weekend, Austin was able to bless Trevor, so Nate got to be apart of that!! The blessing was incredible, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room.

Nate and I got to sneak away for an hour and go see my ADORABLE nephews, my sista and her husband!!! So wish we could have stayed longer but it was a VERY quick weekend but very much so worth the exhaustion.

Volleyball

Vanessa is at Ridgeline this year and finally has the opportunity to play a sport. She has never really shown a huge interest in playing any sport but decided she wanted to play Volleyball. I knew with her being MY child and all, that of course she would be AMAZING!! :) Little did I know, just how AMAZING she would turn out to be. Not to say I didn't have faith in her athletic ability, more her lack of facing a ball that is flying at her and not ducking and running from it!!! But I must say, she is doing GREAT!! She was afraid she would get cut from the try outs but ended up making JV!! And now this past week she got moved up to Varsity!! So proud of her!! Here are a few of the pictures I've taken of her playing. She has the same serious look on her face at all times and refuses to look at me in the stands!! TWIT :)

Clam digging and Easter!!!

It was a fun filled camping weekend, letting the kids be kids playing on the beach, clam digging for the first time, enjoying time together and Easter Egg hunting on the beach!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!! We woke up Easter morning to the Easter bunny hopping through the camp ground!!!

After walking on the beach we found a spot to relax, let Nate try ocean fishing and let the kids just play. Nate didn't catch any fish but we found something else on the shore for the kids to play with....

Vanessa and Makayla wanted to get a tan, they only had their THOUSANDS of magazines with them so they decided to try and use them as reflexers to give them a tan faster haha these 2 just make me laugh :)
