I had no idea life had gotten so busy that it has taken me months to write on here!! So many things have happened and changed and are going to happen, where to start :) I will warn that at some point in the post there will be a photo dump!!
Let's see....Vanessa once again did volleyball, but had some bumps in the season this year and wasn't as excited about it as last year but still did amazing!!
I love watching her play, she is amazing!!!
Matthew has been practicing basket ball and made it in the bump champion ships at school....
He did AMAZING!!! Ended up taking second place out of like 50 kids!! He's so excited for school to start again so he can start playing again.
He loves dragging me out to play basket ball with him after work and on the weekends and showing off the fact that he can make more baskets then me LOL love that kid!!!
We decided to redo some of the flower beds in the front yard....
And add some flowers to the back porch :)
Vanessa had fun this year with her friends enjoying spirit week at school!!! If the kids at school really knew who Vanessa really was like at home they wouldn't know what to do!

I got to make a last minute trip to Utah in May to go to Holly's reception. Vanessa left these beautiful pictures on my phone for me to find....she wanted to make sure I didn't miss her while I was gone haha

So I've been watching what I eat, so I decided to try the protein style double double haha yes I won't give up my double double!!! It was actually super AMAZING!! Like I think I ended up having it like 3 times in the 2 1/2 days I was in Utah....HAPPY GIRL!!!

In June, I had an eye issue for 3 weeks!! No contacts for 3 WEEKS!!! I was about to go crazy...ok crazier then we all know I already am LOL when she told me I was good to put my contacts back in.....
So in my life style, changing foods I eat....I have discovered NUTELLA!!! OMG I seriously DREAM about the stuff! I will ONLY allow myself to have it on the weekends, otherwise I will seriously eat it like a fat kid!! I am completely OBSESSED with it!!
July...what a great month haha I got my Arkansas back from stupid Alaska and she came bearing gifts!!! Since they drove down from Alaska, they had to go through Canada...which we all know what Canada has that the US of A doesn't have for some God awful reason I can't seem to figure out!!! ALL DRESSED chips....another Sarah obsession! She brought me down like 6 bags of them! I am sadly right now on my last bag :( I have threatened my children's lives if they even think of eating the last of them!!!
School ended and summer began, sadly it wasn't time for my vacation but it was my parents :) They decided to head to Utah for a week to see my sister and took my kids along with them!! They just LOVED sending me pictures everyday of all the fun things they were doing and the SUN they were getting while it rained at home!!!

I was so excited and happy for Shari and Zack :) we headed to Portland to be at the temple when they got married!!! It was a crazy, beautiful, amazing day no one will ever forget!! Her mum was definitely watching over her that day, laughing her bootie off at every bump in the road that happened that day and not once did Shari not end up laughing over it!!

We actually haven't had too terrible of a summer this year FINALLY!! Hailli, Vanessa's friend came and stayed with us which started out for a week and ended up being a month! We loved having her ;)

I also got to make a last minute trip to North Dakota to see a friend.....I don't know what I ever expected North Dakota to look like but it was surprisingly beautiful!!
While I was in North Dakota, Vanessa decided she was going to spend some time at her dads...I kinda missed that girl!!!

It has been a crazy busy summer but we really did have fun!! My divorce was FINALLY final the end of July, right before we headed to Utah :) There's some changes hopefully happening soon in our lives....excited but nervous at time same time! It's crazy how life can be so up and down and yet you end up smiling bigger then you did 10 months ago. I love my kids and my life. It certainly isn't what I ever expected it to be but it works for us! Still can't believe I have a 9th grader and a 5th grader already!! They are both such amazing kids!
