Family Reunion in Utah

This year our family reunion was in Utah in the Ogden Canyon at Weber Memorial Park. When you first come into the park there are 2 cannons. Matthew and Harmon loved to go and play on them. The first time they went up there this is how Matthew came back. There was a helmet hanging on the seat of one of the cannons. He played with it the helmet till we left headed home then he hung it back up for the next lil kid to come along and play with it!!!ZuriAnn has the craziest cutest hair ever....she was going to town on the pickle and getting it all over her mom :)

I decided that before we left for Utah Matthew was in dire need of a hair cut. He has always wanted to try a mohawk but has always been nervous of kids at school making fun of him, so he decided since it was summer he was safe. I think he is the cutest thing ever. Papa gave his approval on it so he definitely LOVES it now :)

Shop Hop Weekend

Every year there is a quilt store shop hop. I have gone with mom to a couple of them and was told by Arkansas that I was going this year!!! This isn't the greatest picture, actually I really don't like it of me at all but mom looks cute and it was the start of our day at the freakin butt crack of dawn 7:00 AM on a Saturday!!!

At the shop in downtown Olympia, mom had to parallel park her mini car and was so proud of herself for getting it in the spot, we just had to take a picture

I must say the views we got during the drives to the different shops was definitly nothing to complain about. We had Mt. St. Helens on one side of the road.
And Mt. Rainier on the other side of the road. We couldn't have asked for better weather.

Motorcyle and the ALMOST no more motorcycle!!

We are heading to Utah in a couple days for a family reunion. I am wanting to use the truck to go see Todd, so dad decided to try and get the bike into the back of the truck since it will be being pulled behind the RV..... So this is the ramp dad made to do a test run to make sure we can get it in and out.
So Vanessa was given the camera to take pictures because I being the lucky daughter that I am got to help dad take the bike (the 700 POUND bike) up this extremely not so wide ramp.

Dad ummm....its not centered and its kinda leaning your direction and close to the edge....

That was the last picture taken by mom because right after this we got a lil further down the ramp and the bike was getting really close to the edge. I pulled a lil too hard forgetting a 700 lb bike isn't just going to shift a lil for me, dad lost his footing and slipped and started to fall which then the bike starts rolling backwards, the 700 lb bike, so mom yells for Vanessa to come get the camera haha I reach up, thankfully I had been watching dad and figured out where the brake was and grabbed the brake to stop the bike from rolling backwards ONTO my dad and steady the bike till dad could get his footings back. Dad was so proud he had taught his daughter so well that the bike is the most important thing, sacrifice the body to save the bike. I have a really pretty couple of bruises on my arm from this fun test run :)

Prairie Days Parade

I really didn't want to take them to the parade, but they promised when we got home they would both shower WITHOUT complaining!!!! How could I say no to these 2 adorable faces (yes I know they totally take after ME)
Matthew loved the motorcycles and thought Papa should ride his the way these guys do and in the parade next year :)

Ok this lil boy was standing down from us. He was playing with this which looked like a paddle ball thingy except it had a BIG ball attached to it. He would take it and hit the ball on the ground as hard as he could and it would bounce up and hit him in the head every time. It was so cute...LOVE his red hair!!!

For the final picture of the parade was a dog training school. Yes they were showing off how SMART there dogs are...the whole time I just felt this lady looking at me saying...I know you have a dog who eats your shoes, has a pantie fetish and hides things from you...yet you haven't called us WHY??? Ummm....cause I know Snookums would get kicked out of your school within the first 5 minutes of being there....HAHAHA Good thing he's adorable

Did I mention that right as I was taking a picture of Troop 219 float, I click and SMACK!! Pegged right in the lip with a rapidly flying piece of candy, which somehow was not on the ground below me and ended up giving me a fat lip!!! They need to post warnings at these public events....PLEASE WEAR FACE SHIELDS AS THEY ARE GOING TO BE HURLING CANDY AT YOU AS HARD AS THEY POSSIBLY CAN!!! consider yourself warned....
