I think I'm finding it impossible for us to travel to Utah without some issue happening. At the beginning of July we drove down to Utah to see my sista for 10 days. We had stopped over night in Boise and had just crossed down into Utah, I was driving (keep your remarks to yourself haha) and the van started doing a shakey thing and all the sudden like 4 warning lights came on. So I slowed down and took the first exit and popped the hood (like I knew exactly where to find the problem) Checked the oil and a few other colorful fluids that I'm sure my dad would have checked if he were with us and yep they all looked in good working condition to me!! So I climbed back in the drivers seat (with mom freaking out next to me, trust me it was sooo much safer with me driving when a warning light comes on, she freaks out and dives off the road immediately like the car is going to blow up in 10 seconds if you don't turn it off the second the light comes on)
So back in the drivers seat, I turned the car on and it sounded fine, so back on the freeway we went. Bout 15 miles up the road it started again but add chugging and lack of acceleration along with the shaky thing. So I took the next exit and lucky for us it had a lil over pass that I pulled under and called Toyota to ask why the heck it was doing this, cause I checked those darn colorful fluids and they all looked nice and pretty to me. They said if a certain light was flashing we shouldn't drive the car to have it towed to them. Yeah we are in the middle of NO WHERE Utah, yeah sure we'll be right there buddy!! So I got on my phone (luckily we did have cell reception as long as you didn't walk too far forward or go backward too much haha basically in one lil area we had cell service) called one tow place, they gave me a different place to call. Got a hold of someone finally and they said it will be a bit to get there since you are so far away but we will be there. So then the waiting began....
Now there is Vanessa, me, Mom and Shari all stuck under this over pass haha It only took the tow truck man bout an hour and 20 minutes to get to us, but you'd swear it was days!!! We were laughing about how we were bout to run out of donuts and oreos!! Then we started laughing saying how you always see in movies how the tow truck guys are always fat, sweaty, nasty greasy guys who are totally gross and that we were going to get stuck with one like that and we'd have to ride who knows how far in the tow truck with him!! Hey it was hot and we had a thought we might run out of donuts ok we were getting a bit loopy haha
This was the view looking behind us...
and in front of us...
Can you tell we were bored??
I'm not sure what Shari was doing behind me in this picture but I'm pretty sure it was the bring us donuts dance by swinging her head around causing her hair to go everywhere!!!
I love all these pictures, if you notice mom in the corner calmly playing on her DS while we are all losing it around her!!
And then our knight in a shiny tow truck finally arrived. And as you can see...he wasn't fat, smelly, greasy or gross :)
Oh and on the drive to Toyota he informed us he was SINGLE!! haha
